PCAS does not offer any court-ordered community service, and volunteering with us does not count toward these hours. Our shelter is located at:

Volunteer Requirements
Hours of Operation for Volunteer Shifts
Monday
8 am to 4:30 pm
Tuesday through Thursday
8 am to 5 pm
Friday and Saturday
8 am to 6 pm
The above hours listed are the available times that volunteers may be on the shelter grounds. A majority of volunteer shifts begin at noon and the average length of a shift is 3 hours. All pets must be returned to kennel by the end times listed above.

Volunteer Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age, even if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- Cannot be on the Animal Abuse Registry
- May be required to complete a background check
- Must be able to volunteer a minimum of 1 shift per week (shifts range from 2 to 4 hours depending on the role)
