MPO Public Hearing/Notices:


REQUEST FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS- DRAFT TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP)

The Pasco County MPO, the designated organization responsible for conducting a countywide transportation planning program has set a 30-day public comment period beginning May 10, 2018, through June 14, 2018, to review the draft TIP.  The purpose of this advertisement is to solicit public comments and input on the Draft Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). Written comments regarding the Draft TIP will be accepted through June 14, 2018, addressed to Pasco County MPO, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, Florida 34654, or e-mail comments to mpocomments@pascocountyfl.net. The Final TIP is scheduled for adoption at a Public Hearing on June 14, 2018, 10:00 a.m., during a regularly scheduled MPO Board meeting at the West Pasco Government Center, Board Room, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, Florida, 34654. Notice of PUBLIC HEARING-Adoption of the Public Participation Plan (PPP) 

The Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), is responsible for conducting a continuing, coordinated, and comprehensive transportation planning pr9cess for the County in accordance with Federal and State rules and regulations. The coordinated effort by the MPO includes a Public Participation Plan (PPP) that identifies opportunities for continuous citizen input into the development of the MPO's Plans and programs.  The PPP is used as a guide to participation for all MPO outreach events and studies. 

 The purpose of this public hearing is for the adoption of the Public Participation Plan (PPP). The PPP was made available for public review and comment beginning on February 22, 2018.  The final PPP is schedule for adopti0n  by the MPO at a public hearing that will be held on May 10, 2018, at the Historic Pasco County Courthouse , 2nd Floor, 37918 Meridian Avenue, Dade City, Florida, at 10:00 a.m.  Pleases see the Notice of Public Hearing for more details. Notice of PUBLIC HEARING-Adoption of the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) 

The Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), the designated organization responsible for conducting a countywide transportation planning program, will old a public hearing during the regularly schedule MPO meeting on May 10, 2018, at the Historic Pasco County Courthouse , 2nd Floor, 37918 Meridian Avenue, Dade City, Florida, at 10:00 a.m.  The purpose of this public hearing is or adoption of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2018-19 through FY 2019-20 UPWP.  The UPWP identifies the proposed MPO's transportation panning activities, funding sources, budget allocations, and end products for the period July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2020.  This proposed UPWP was made available public review and comment beginning March 08, 2018, in accordance with the MPO's Public Participation Plan.  In compliance with 23 CFR 450.316(b) (1) (i), Florida Statutes, and applicable Federal law, the comment period on  Draft UPWP will end with the public hearing.  Please see the Notice of Public  Hearing  for more details.  You may also view the Final Draft UPWP.
