Commissioner Mike Wells

Mike Wells is a native Floridian and 35 year resident of Pasco County who lives in New Port Richey. Prior to becoming the Pasco County Commissioner for District 4, he enjoyed a leadership and management role for 17 years with Enterprise Rent-A-Car as both a Branch and Area Manager. His background and expertise involved impacting organizational and profitability standards using his leadership skills.

Mike has a strong and lengthy record of giving back to the community and has been involved in many civic and volunteer organizations.Currently serving as Vice-Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners. His current community volunteer activities include Junior Achievement Counselor/Teacher, YMCA of the Suncoast - James P. Gills Family YMCA Advisory Board, Southeastern Guide Dogs, Coastal Conservation Association, The Angelus, Sunrise of Pasco, Area Committee Nature Caost Chapter for Ducks Unlimited, Advisory Board member for the Johnson invitation fishing tournament that raises money for The American Cancer Society, volunteer for the annual Rotary Wild Game Dinner raising money for numerous non-profit organizations in Pasco County; and he is a graduate of Leadership Pasco - 2006. Additionally, Mike is a member of the National Association of Realtors, West Pasco Board of Realtors, Florida Realtors, West Pasco Chamber of Commerce, Trinity-Odessa Chamber of Commerce, Dade City Chamber of Commerce and NRA.

Mike acknowledges that decisions made during his term will likely impact the County for decades to come and he wants to be instrumental in that process. He pledges to provide the leadership skills and the fortitude needed to make a positive difference for all Pasco residents, their children and grandchildren for future generations.
