Public Information Office: 
The Public Information Office has two Public Information Officers who handle media inquiries, write press releases, manage social media platforms, produce video, hold special events, handle crisis communications and act as the County spokesperson.   Reporters looking for contacts within Pasco County Government are encouraged to reach out to the PIO.   The PIO is responsible for performing a variety of marketing, communication, and production activities for Pasco County.  The PIO also serves as the lead for the Public Affairs Function in the County during an activation of the Emergency Operations Center.  The office assists Departments within Pasco County Government to effectively communicate with the Public and the Press. The Public Information Office also manages Pasco County Television.

Pasco County Television:  Pasco County  Television is a 24-hour government cable channel, committed to providing viewers in Pasco County with quality programming.   The channel can be viewed by watching channel 643 on Spectrum (formally Brighthouse) and Channel 42 on Frontier Communications (formerly Verizon.) The Office coordinates live broadcasts of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), special BOCC Workshops.   The PIO directs the operations of the channel, including scheduling, supervising, and general management of the station activities.  See more info for Pasco County TV.

Doug Tobin/Public Information Officer
Doug Tobin/Public Information Officer:  Doug Tobin has more than 18-years broadcasting experience and has worked as a television news anchor and reporter.   Tobin has been a Public Information Officer/spokesperson since 2003 and has worked for local and state agencies including: The Florida Department of Children and Families, The Pasco Sheriff’s Office and has served as Press Secretary for The Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

Tambrey Laine is Pasco County’s Assistant Public Information Officer and County spokesperson.
A graduate of The University of South Florida’s School of Mass Communications with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast News, Tambrey has over a decade of experience in television news anchoring, writing, producing and management – leading one Florida news team to a Sun Coast Emmy Nomination.
