Parks & Recreation
The Parks and Recreation Department currently manages 35 parks providing a variety of recreational opportunities for the residents of Pasco County from wilderness camping to programmed sports.  Our parks, facilities and programs help drive the economy and provide for individual and community health by offering opportunities for physical activity, social gathering, mental rejuvenation and personal development.  Our parks also provide natural and wild areas which allow visitors to enjoy and explore Florida's environment.

Each park offers a variety of things to do so go to "Park Information" for a list of all of our parks and what they offer.  If you are looking for dog parks, camping, swimming, maps or league information then check our "Park Amenities" for further details.

Due to budget restraints last year, our department was faced with the difficult choice to raise user fees or close some of our parks.  We have implemented a $2.00 parking fee at 11 of our park sites.  If you visit our parks often, you may choose to purchase an annual park pass for $60.00 by filling out an Annual Park Pass Application and mail it to our Administrative Office in Land O' Lakes or you can visit our office or the Central Permitting Departments at the Government Centers located in New Port Richey and Dade City.

Your support will help us maintain our facilities and keep the parks open for you to enjoy.
