At this time Pasco County Human Services is accepting applications for the following services/programs only:

  • Rental and Move-In Deposit Assistance: Possible help with limited past due rent or move-in expenses; limitations and restrictions apply. Please click on the "Application for Assistance" link on the left to apply for these services.

All others seeking assistance are encouraged to view our Other Community Resources page by clicking on the link on the left of this page.

Welcome to Human Services!

Pasco County Human Services provides a variety of needs-based assistance through county, state and grant funded programs.  Additionally, we network and coordinate services with other governmental entities, non-profit service agencies, and other community service providers to help meet the needs of our citizens and connect them with valuable resources within the community.

Our services are designed primarily to provide short-term, temporary assistance to families in accordance with Division rules, regulations, and budgetary constraints.  For more information, please click on the appropriate link below or the links on either side of this webpage.

If you are in need of assistance, we encourage you to first contact the Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County or your nearest Resource Center listed below in order to be connected to the most appropriate services to fit your needs.

Pasco County Government launches the new “MyPasco” mobile APP

Pasco County Government’s new mobile application (APP) for smart phone users is now available online. The new APP is designed for Android, Apple, Blackberry, and Windows mobile products. To read the complete press release, click here. 

Meet With a Case Manager!

With so many different agencies, programs, and services available throughout Pasco County with various guidelines and eligibility criteria, it can be very difficult to figure out where to begin or who to call.  Luckily, The Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County is providing opportunities for citizens in need to meet one on one with case managers, who will help point them in the right direction.  These case managers will provide appropriate referrals to area agencies based on the citizen's needs and situation.

This is the best place to begin your search for assistance! Before you call anyone else, call Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County at the appropriate number below to get started on the right foot.

Learn More About SHINE

SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and your local Area Agency on Aging.  Specially trained volunteers can assist you with your Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance questions by providing one-on-one counseling and information.  SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential.

Resource Centers

There are currently six centralized Resource Centers throughout the county which provide resources for citizens in need.  These Resource Centers should be your first stop if you are seeking assistance in Pasco County as they provide a gateway to many services, programs and resources available throughout agencies and community partners within the county.
