Film in Pasco County

Film Commission

Pasco County’s Destination Management Organization (DMO) is also the liaison to the State’s Film Office. Every week the office receives a number of leads to assist producers and scouts to locate that destination for the perfect shot.

Whether it is a 30 second promotional spot or a full length production film (like Edward Scissorhands shot in Land O’ Lakes) Pasco County has streamlined the permitting process.

Complete the Application (PDF) in its entirety and return it to the Destination Management Organization at least five (5) business days prior to the filming date along with the insurance. For road closing, the application must be submitted at least 90 days prior to the filming date.

For further information, please email Gaby or call at (727)-847-8129.

Pasco County also has a site with Reel Scout (TBA) to view different areas and photos that may assist in determining your location.
