The Difference Between Customer Numbers & Account Numbers
When making a payment or change to your account please be sure to note your Customer Number as well as your Account Number. A Customer Number will stay the same to maintain historical data for a user. An Account Number will change when a location or address is added or changed for a user. It is important to have both numbers noted to ensure payments are not credited to an outdated address or the wrong property, if there are multiple properties owned.
Board of County Commissioners Approve Revised Rates, Fees, and Charges
Beginning October 1, 2019 Pasco County Utilities (PCU) customers will see rate changes in their monthly water, wastewater, and reclaim water bill, dependent on the volume of water and sewer needs specific to property size, house hold size, etc. The average residential customer using 6,000 gallons of water would see a billing increase from $73.20 to $75.30, a difference of $2.10. View New Rates, Fees, and Charges.
On December 16, 2016 work authorization was approved by the County Administrator to update the County’s Cost of Service Rate Study. Findings and recommendations outlined in the study include across-the-board adjustments, decreases and increases to all service rates, fees, and charges.
A four-year rate schedule went into effect on October 1, 2017, with changes adopted from a Cost of Service Rate Study. Details in the Cost of Service Rate Study include projected annual adjustments to service rates, fees, and charges through September 30, 2022. An annual rate sufficiency analysis will be performed after each Fiscal Year (FY) to determine the need for any annual increases.
