The Difference Between Customer Numbers & Account Numbers
When making a payment or change to your account please be sure to note your Customer Number as well as your Account Number. A Customer Number will stay the same to maintain historical data for a user. An Account Number will change when a location or address is added or changed for a user. It is important to have both numbers noted to ensure payments are not credited to an outdated address or the wrong property, if there are multiple properties owned.

Board of County Commissioners Approve Revised Rates, Fees, and Charges
The much anticipated acquisition of the Pasco Aqua Utility System, by Pasco County Utilities (PCU), will take full effect during the summer of 2020. In preparation for the acquisition a rate increase of two percent will be reflected on the February 2020 billing statement, inclusive of any usage that took place the month prior. PCU is committed to a seamless transition for the 3,400 new as well as all current PCU customers.
Establishing a two percent rate increase for all monthly water, wastewater, and reclaim water bills was approved at the December 10, 2019, Board of County Commissioner (BOCC) meeting. The average residential customer using 6,000 gallons of water would see a billing increase from $75.30 to $76.78, a difference of $1.48.
A full listing of new rates and charges is available online or documents associated with the BOCC approved Resolution can be viewed through UT20-0106.
