TNVR Update

Pasco County Animal Services (PCAS) takes the health and well-being of our community and team members seriously. To extend caution we are currently offering services by appointment only.

If you have been working with a team member, they will be in contact with you. If you regularly drop off on Sundays, please refrain from utilizing the shelter until further notice.

Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return

PCAS is proud to offer an alternative to euthanasia for stray & feral cats! The TNVR (Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return) program offers sterilization and vaccination for stray and feral cats in Pasco County. Participants only pay $10.00 for sterilization and vaccination of feral/stray cats and the cats can be returned to their colony to live out their lives!

TNVR is available at PCAS!Cats eligible for TNVR through the SNIP program can be dropped off at Building A (The Adoption Center) on Sundays from 9am to 11am.
Cats dropped off for TNVR will need to be reclaimed by their caregiver the following Tuesday between 12 and 5PM. Cats cannot be reclaimed any earlier as they need to be monitored by the PCAS team as they recover from  surgery.
To Qualify:
  • Cats must come from Pasco County
  • Must be brought to vets office in a humane trap (cats in carriers will not be permitted)
  • Cats must appear to be healthy and be at least 3 lbs in weight
  • Participant must pay the $10.00 copay & reclaim the cat after sterilization
