Welbilt FSG
Welbilt has donated equipment, a six-burner range, refrigerator, freezer, ice machine, shelving and stainless steel work tables, to create a commercial incubator kitchen in the Stallings Building in East Pasco where the Pasco EDC SMARTstart program will host community classes and incubator businesses.
This kitchen was made possible through partnership with the Pasco Extension Office, Pasco County and the Pasco EDC.

Welbilt, Inc. announced today that it will host an Investor Day at its headquarters in New Port Richey, FL on May 14, 2019. President and Chief Executive Officer
Bill Johnson and other members of Welbilt’s executive management team will provide an in-depth review of the Company’s long-term vision and growth strategies, capital allocation framework, and operational and financial objectives.
Pasco Economic Development Council (Pasco EDC) and the Office of Economic Growth negotiated incentives for Welbilt FSG U.S. Holdings, LLC, a food equipment manufacturer, for a $13,250,000 capital investment project that includes, 35,500 square foot expansion and a new parking garage.

Description: Welbilt FSG U.S. Holdings, LLC to retain and expand its operations in Pasco County, construct a 35,500* square foot Class A corporate office addition to their existing facility, construct a 190-space parking garage, and hire 110 new employees, paying an average annual wage for all jobs created of at least $68,770 which is two-hundred percent (200%) of the Pasco County average annual wage.
*This has since changed to an estimated development of 25,000 square feet
7/17/2019: The Pasco County Office of Economic Growth processed the Local Funding Support payment towards Welbilt's Florida Qualified Target Industry Tax Refund for jobs created in 2018. Although this benefit is part of the Welbilt Economic Incentive Agreement, it is not paid for by the Jobs and Economic Opportunities Trust Fund.
