- 2018 Safe Routes to Schools' Projects

Pasco County District School Board and Pasco County Engineering Services Department are jointly working to pursue grant funding through the Florida Department of Transportation Safe Routes to Schools Program for the design and construction of three new sidewalk projects in Pasco County.
West Pasco County
Benefiting School: Gulf Highlands Elementary School
Project: New 6’ sidewalk on the east side of Zimmerman Road Sidewalk from Ranch Road to SR 52.
Central Pasco County
Benefiting Schools: Bexley Elementary School and Charles Rushe Middle School
Project: New 6’ sidewalk on the west side of Ballantrae Boulevard Sidewalk from north of Straton Place to Tower Road.
East Pasco County
Benefiting Schools: Pasco Elementary, Middle and High School
Projects: New 6’ sidewalk on the east side of Fort King Road Sidewalk from Hester Road to Coleman Road and a new 6’ sidewalk on the west side of Fort King Road from Morningside Drive to the entrance to Pasco High School.
