4H Pasco County Clubs Information, Events, and Photos
The Unidos 4-H club is determined “To Make the Best Better,” in our community, as stated in our motto. Our club members decided to take ownership of the mile stretch of 14th Street between Lock Street and Long Avenue, by participating in the Pasco County Adopt-a-Road program. Our first Adopt-a-Road clean-up session was held Saturday, August 7, 2019 at 8 a.m. Thanks to our club members’ dedication and their parents’ willingness to help our first clean-up was a great success! Unidos 4-H club had a total of 21 volunteers, of whom 13 were club members between the ages of 5 and 13 years old. Together we collected more than 15 bags of trash. As we picked-up trash from the street, some local community members that happened to drive by thanked us for beautifying their area. It’s a win- win for all of us!
As the Unidos 4-H Club continues to help keep Pasco beautiful by embracing its community on Lock Street, we invite you to become part of the Unidos 4-H club. We meet every last Thursday of the month in the Pasco County Extension Program One-Stop-Shop from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
As Henry Ford once said, “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success.” Help us continue to be successful!
