Pasco County Community Development Department Public Hearing Notice Citizen Participation Plan
The Pasco County Community Development Department is revising its Citizen Participation Plan (Plan) to
include provisions for Pasco County to promptly respond to any declared disaster at the direction of the
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
A public hearing will be held virtually on February 11, 2021 at 4:00 pm for public comment on the proposed
Citizen Participation Plan To access this online public hearing, interested parties should contact Community
Development at 727-834-3447 or firstname.lastname@example.org . The Plan is scheduled for Board of
County Commissioner approval on March 9, 2021 and will be filed with HUD after Board approval. The Plan
will be available for public comment from January 18, 2021 through February 19, 2021, at the office of the
Community Development, or go to the Draft Citizens Participation Plan .
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, persons needing a special accommodation or an
interpreter to participate in the public hearing should contact the Community Development at (727) 834-3447 at
least seven (7) days prior to the date of the hearing.
Opens a New Window. OpensDown Payment Assistance Program Suspended
Pasco County Community Development will be suspending the Down Payment Assistance (DPA) program effective July 2nd, 2020. Applications for DPA will not be accepted effective this date. All reservations submitted before July 2nd will be honored, however, if a reservation is cancelled or denied, the lender will not be allowed to submit a new reservation.
Community Development will be streamlining and improving our DPA program while suspended and we are hoping the changes will make the process easier, quicker, and more efficient for everyone involved.
