Shelter Statistics 2021

Pasco County Animal Services' mission is to ensure the health and safety of the people and pets in our community by encouraging responsible pet ownership through education, legislation and by providing incentives to sterilize pets. 

Pasco County continuously works toward the goal of saving 90% of the adoptable pets in our county. This is possible through adoptions, rescue transfers, fostering and trap-neuter-vaccinate-release (TNVR) programs. 

Our monthly statistics show the number of animal intakes and outcomes along with our Live Release Rate. Shelter reporting is required by Section 823.15, Florida Statute. Statistics are shown for the current calendar year.
