The Solid Waste Management Citizens Advisory Committee (SWAC) is comprised of 10 members:
Committee of 100 representative
Educator / environmentalist
Four citizen consumers
Resident representative from the Shady Hills area
Each commissioner appoints two members.
Members are appointed for a term concurrent with the team of the appointing commissioner.
The SWAC was established by the Board of County Commissioners to review from time to time all solid waste programs and projects and make recommendations to the board as to how these programs and projects can be improved.
