No. Pursuant to the Pasco County Land Development Code, Section 1001.4.B.2-3, roofs, overhead coverings, walls, enclosures, and other similar, visual obstructions are prohibited on docks, lifts, pilings, or similar structures built over the water. Exceptions include any covering constructed prior to June 1, 2010 with required permitting and docks on privately owned inland bodies of water with required permitting.

The lawn must exceed 8 inches to be considered overgrown. The property must have a residential zoning for the ordinance to apply. The owners are given a 14 day warning that is sent via certified mail we must have this mail back before we can send to the contractor for mowing. The typical overgrown complaint takes 30 to 45 days to rectify.
