Get Involved

It’s important for people to be part of their community. That’s why there are many ways to get involved with Pasco County!

Join one of our groups or boards – to play an instrumental role in how your community functions!

Learn how our government works through our Citizens’ Academy, a series of professionally-led interactive programs that educate citizens about the county’s governmental operations.  Elected officials, state agency partners and department directors walk community members through a series of sessions to give them hands-on government experience.

Another great opportunity to get involved is The Commission on the Status of Women, which was established by the Board of County Commissioners in 2016. Made up of community members and elected officials, it serves as an advisory capacity to the Board of County Commissioners – with a focus on all matters related to women.

All Pasco County social media platforms are a great place to check – for opportunities to get involved!  Pasco County is always working to make our county a great place to live, work and play – and your involvement is an integral part of that!
