Operations And Maintenance

The Operations and Maintenance Division ensures maximum sustainability for all County-owned buildings and equipment with safe and cost-effective services for the Citizens and occupants.

Operations and Maintenance focuses on the preventative maintenance and repair work, including electrical; plumbing; carpentry; heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R); custodial; grounds maintenance; and other required services. The division schedules and tracks these services through the use of its Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and Building Automation Software (BAS) systems. The division is scheduled to provide 24/7 emergency response to support building operations. In addition, the division coordinates and provides contracted services, access control, energy management, and Central Stores/warehouse services for various departments throughout the County.
