Fire Rescue

Pasco County is under an Emergency Burn Ban for all areas of the county effective May 31, 2024. Pasco County is experiencing extremely dry conditions due to a prolonged lack of rainfall, resulting in an increased risk of brush fires. The mandatory burn ban is effective immediately and will not expire until conditions improve.

At Pasco County Fire Rescue, we are proud to uphold our mission of ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all residents and visitors in Pasco County through effective community risk reduction strategies. Our team is dedicated to providing professional, compassionate responses to service calls while also prioritizing community education.

Our operational strength relies on 29 strategically located fire stations, staffed by a team of 755 paid, professional firefighters, and paramedics. Additionally, we are supported by a vital team of 60 non-sworn support staff positions, including roles in administration, ambulance billing, and Fire Rescue Supply.
